DailyDoseBox
Daily medication check-in

The pill box that texts you back.

Know Mom or Dad took their morning meds without a daily check-up call. They just open a handsome box on the nightstand. If it stays shut past the window, you get a text.

The text you get if the box stays shut

DailyDoseBox: Mom's box hasn't opened today (8 to 10 AM window). We will keep nudging.

No daily app to remember. Open the box, that is the whole interaction.

How it works

Three parts. One habit.

A contact switch in the lid knows the moment the box is opened or closed. Everything else runs in the cloud, so the people who care never need to babysit it.

1

Open the box, take your dose

Opening the lid during the daily window is the check-in. Nothing to press, unlock, or charge for the user. The box logs it and goes quiet.

2

The box watches the clock

You set the window once, for example 8:00 to 10:00 AM. If the lid has not been opened by the end of the window, DailyDoseBox knows the box stayed shut.

3

It speaks up, then escalates

A gentle reminder first. Still shut? It texts your people, plays a spoken message, and can place a phone call. You choose the ladder.

If the box stays shut

You decide what happens, and in what order.

Every step is optional and every contact is yours to set. Calm by default, loud only when it matters.

DailyDoseBox reports whether the box was opened, not whether a dose was taken. It is a daily check-in aid, not a medical device.

At the window's end
Soft chime on the box.
A quiet nudge in case the dose was just running late.
+10 minutes
Text the person.
A friendly reminder lands on their phone: "Time for your morning meds."
+20 minutes
Speak out loud.
The box plays a recorded voice message in the room, in your own words.
+30 minutes
Text a friend.
A friend or family member gets a heads-up that the box is still shut today.
+45 minutes
Place a phone call.
An automated call goes out so a real person can check in.
Setup in 60 seconds

Every box has its own code.

A QR code inside the box resolves to that exact box. Scan it and you land on its private settings, no account hunting, no serial numbers to type.

Set the dose window, add the contacts, and arrange the escalation ladder. Change it any time, from anywhere. One box for the morning pills, another for the evening, each with its own people and rules.

Who it's for

Three people. One quiet habit.

Same box, set up for whoever you are looking out for, including you.

For your aging parent

They keep their independence at home; you keep your peace of mind. No daily check-up call, no hovering. The first missed morning is the one you actually hear about.

For your kid

The before-school medicine that cannot be skipped. If the box has not opened by the time the bus comes, you get a text while there is still time to do something about it.

For yourself

The daily med you cannot afford to forget, from thyroid to blood thinners to the prescription that keeps your week steady. Open the box and you are checked in. Forget, and it nudges you before the day gets away.
