DailyDoseBox
Questions

Everything people ask before they buy.

Short, honest answers. If something is missing, the pre-order email gets a real human reply.

Does it know if I actually took my pill?

No, and we will never pretend it does. DailyDoseBox reports whether the box was opened during your daily window, which is the honest, reliable signal of a daily routine. It is a check-in aid, not a sensor inside your body.

What if there is no wifi?

The box uses its own cellular connection for alerts, so it does not depend on home wifi or a hub. As long as there is cell coverage, the chime, texts, voice message, and calls all work. You just plug it in.

What is the 3-word code?

Every box ships with a memorable 3-word code printed on the lid, like maple.river.otter, plus a QR. To register or reopen your box settings, you just remember three words. No accounts to hunt for and no serial numbers to type.

Is my data private?

We track one thing: was the box opened in its window. We do not record audio, track location, or sell your information. Alerts go only to the contacts you choose.

Who gets the alerts?

You decide. You can send reminders to the person taking the meds, to yourself, to a caregiver, or to several contacts at once, and you set who gets pulled in at each escalation step.

Is this a medical device?

No. DailyDoseBox is a daily check-in aid, not a substitute for medical care or professional monitoring. It helps a routine stay on track; it does not diagnose, dispense, or treat.

How long does setup take?

A few minutes. Scan the QR or enter your 3 words, set the daily window, add who gets alerts, and you are done. Most people finish before their coffee is cool.

What is in the box?

The wooden DailyDoseBox with its lid sensor, the 3-word setup code printed on the lid, a charging cable, and a one-page start card. No app download required to use it.
