Who we are

DailyDoseBox is operated by Egghead Labs, Inc. ("we", "us"). DailyDoseBox is a daily medication check-in aid: a connected pill box reports when its lid is opened, and we alert the people you choose if it is not opened within a daily window.

Information we collect

Account information: your name and email address.
Recipient information: the names and mobile phone numbers of the people you ask us to alert (which may include you).
Device events: when a box is opened, the daily window you set, and the resulting status (opened, not opened, or sensor offline). We record that a box was opened, not what is inside it.
Usage and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use this information only to operate the service you set up: to detect a missed window and to deliver the alerts you configured (in-app notification, text message, and/or phone call) to the recipients you chose. We do not use it for advertising.

How we share information

We use trusted service providers to operate the service, including Twilio (to send text messages and place calls) and our cloud hosting provider. These providers process information only to deliver the service on our behalf.

Mobile information and SMS consent are never shared for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as message delivery, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS and call alerts

Text and call alerts are sent only to numbers that have been opted in. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, or by turning off Text or Call for that recipient in the app. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies with box activity; message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms for details.

Data retention and your choices

We keep your account, recipients, and recent device events while your account is active. You can edit or remove recipients and phone numbers at any time in the app, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@dailydosebox.com.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. Credentials and service keys are stored server-side, never in the app.

Not a medical device

DailyDoseBox is a daily check-in aid, not a medical device, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Do not rely on it for emergencies.
